I haven't yet run into battles that I couldn't beat, but the character limit is really dampening my interest. I've lucked my way into a couple of higher-level characters (Ragnarok from Dark Avengers, for one) that I don't want to just toss aside, and I've put effort into leveling up the common Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Storm that I was given early-on.

Especially when they've got alternate versions of the same character (Bag-Man Spider-Man, for example) that are incompatible with the basic version. Marvel Puzzle Quest pissed me off with the block on number of character cards I'm stuck at 7 characters unless I pay money or sell off some of the characters, which is far too low of a limit for such a rich character base as Marvel. The fact that there's no direct PvP means that the pay-to-win aspect doesn't bother me as much, and the indirect/asynchronous PvP that does exist lets me beat on even high-level players' teams with little concern.
